Clarinet

Thank you for expressing an interest in studying clarinet at UWEC. The Clarinet Studio is made up of talented, dedicated, friendly musicians who motivate and support each other. Clarinet majors have weekly lessons and studio class to study standard repertoire, new pieces, reed working, clarinet history, clarinet pedagogy, and other topics. Additionally, clarinet majors perform with UW-EC bands, marching band, orchestra, jazz band, chamber groups, and the Clarinet Choir. Non-majors interested in clarinet studies are welcome in the studio and are especially encouraged to join the Clarinet Choir. Please contact Dr. Powell to set up a trial lesson and to visit to the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire.
